4 Content Ideas For Any Business
It happens to all of us. You're sitting there thinking “What more can I possibly post on social media to promote my business?”
If your content is getting repetitive, or you have no new ideas, then no need to fear! These 5 following content ideas may just be the solution you are looking for:
1. Awareness Days
Awareness Days and National Holidays are commonly overlooked, which is unfortunate, because they are a great way to get your business seen!
There is a National Holiday/Awareness Day almost every day. This ranges from National Hotdog Day to National Kindness Day!
When planning your content, look at the following month and see if there are any of these days that relate to your business, and there you go! A brand new post idea.

A little tip - make sure that you check first if the national holiday is a UK or USA date!
2. Giveaways
Who doesn’t love a giveaway! You can get something for free, all from sharing or liking a post.
Giveaways are also a GREAT way to market your business as well. All you need are two things:
A service or a prize related to your company.
A call of action of how your followers
And there you have it! Make sure you post about what the price is, and how your follower can enter. This can be through liking a post, or sharing it on their story… You pick!
You can then post an exciting reveal of the winner a couple of days or weeks later.
Be sure to get the terms and conditions correct both to the social media platform’s guidelines that you are running the competition on, and to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines.
3. Team Posts
Building a good brand image, and creating trust between the customer/business is the most important thing for any successful company. And what better way to gain trust than to show the faces behind the team?
Whether you have a team of 2 or a team of 20, getting yourself or your employees to write a short post about themselves, how they got into the industry, ect, is a great way to engage customers and build this trust.
You can create this however you want - it could be one post with a whole picture of the team, or a campaign over a few weeks where every few days, a post is put out about an individual team member. Have fun with it!
4. Upcoming Events
If your business has local or online events, seminars, stalls, etc, then promoting these events is a brilliant way to create a buzz, and get people excited!
You can post content before the event to promote it - and then post stories and pictures on your social media whilst the event is actually happening! This will show your dedication to social media to your followers.
